curious about liberals? 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago

Firstly i don't get politics but the shadow ministers (liberals) should be working for us... attaching what labor is doing:
now i just came across this, it's for for you to provide 'tip offs':
"Is there an issue in your local area that the government is trying to keep out of the public eye?
Do you know of some useful information which may help the Liberal Party keep the government accountable?
If you’ve got any information you think might be useful, let us know."

what's Member for Western Metropolitan Bernie Finn's record like here in sunshine?

in the meantime, i'm going to write Wendy Lovell regard the RSL

Wendy Lovell is already up on the issue, though you should write anyway with what you know.
She addressed the "information session" at the Council last Monday and got a fantastic round of applause from the people there.
She said this housing push at the RSL and elsewhere goes against accepted housing policy which is to integrate social housing into the suburbs, and not construct high density gated communities of disadvantage as the Labor Party is doing now.
Where was Dicky Wynne? He was hiding in his broom cupboard.

the liberals couldn't care less about the working-class west.
the alp have raped and pillaged their support-base.
neither of these parties works for sunshine. do not vote for either of them.
do not vote for any former bcc councilors in any future municipal elections. they have been rightly thrown out, and should get themselves new day-jobs and forget politics - their political careers are over, no matter what the outcome of any appeals.

You can't have it both ways, complain that they don't stand up for you and then complain when they do.
Proper social housing policy is proper social housing policy, and these Labor Party fools are carrying on like there's no tomorrow.
For a member of parliament to turn up at a council "information session", when not even the CEO or any of his oddball executive could be bothered to turn up, should tell you something.
If it doesn't, then maybe you need to think about it more?

I could not believe the reception that the Liberal shadow minister for housing got at that meeting on Monday, right here in Sunshine! I can remember just a few years ago, when it didn't matter how hot it was getting on the pool issue, people would not turn against Labor. And they would boo anyone from the Liberals. My, how things have changed, more than I could ever have believed: unanimous cheering for a Liberal at a packed public meeting, right here in Sunshine. It makes me think that we may very well be able to defeat the biggest threat Sunshine has probably ever faced - Labor's attempt to make Sunshine Melbourne's social housing capital.
