A LEADING figure in Premier John Brumby's dominant Right faction of the ALP has lodged a discrimination claim against the Victorian Parliament for wrongful dismissal from his taxpayer-funded job.

Hakki Suleyman, a former electorate officer to Planning Minister Justin Madden, has complained to the state's Equal Opportunity Commission that he was discriminated against in the wake of the Brimbank Council scandal.

George Defteros, says. ''Our client has become virtually unemployable by reason of the discrimination against him. The losses suffered by reason of the termination of employment are substantial and are continuing.''

This is the groundwork for simply another handout from the gravy train to a factional group that needs to be kept onside.
