So another day in Sunshine and another 1 million dollar drug bust. Like the US Army did in Baghdad why don't the cops just start going door to door in Sunshine to flush out this problem ? They might just find there are more drug dealers in this suburb these days than law abiding citizens. I'm always surprised by the sight of a $100,000 Audi or BMW parked in the driveway of a commission house in Braybrook or Sunshine. Just a thought. More cops please Mr Brumby !
Brimbank Council called a community meeting in a desperate bid to combat the escalating violence at the troubled shopping strip where traders have been set upon in recent months.
Several shopkeepers have spoken to Star over the past two weeks in a bid to break the cycle of violence. Deer Park newsagency owner Bruce Niblett was brutally bashed, kicked and hit with a glass bottle during two vicious assaults in the space of a month.
